The Mola, is a hand-made textile from the indigenous Guna people from Panama, Central America, and Colombia. Composed of several layers of brightly colored cloth that are formed by cutting away parts, turning edges and then meticulously sewing them together; a Mola can take up to six months to make.
Nearly a decade ago, Rais Case was gifted 3 Molas cloths, and we fell in love with the material and story. When a dear friend of ours traveled to Panama, 2 years ago, we gave her money to purchase more of these beautiful textiles under the condition that she was able to buy them directly from the artisans and pay above a fair price.
We hope you love the bags we've made with each Mola. The material sturdy and well sewn and brings a refreshed look to our signature silhouette, the Vida Bag.
The Vida can be worn as a crossbody, fanny pack or clutch, making it the ultimate multifunctional bag. Our top grain leather gets softer with every use and textured by every adventure, transforming and aging with you. This 3-in-1 Vida is intended to be your go to bag.
